About the adoption process

IMG_0192-1Once you have chosen your dog(s) a home check will be carried out by a volunteer in your area. Following a successful home check their journey can then be arranged.

Sue organises their transportation with either a local airline or a DEFRA registered Pet transporter. This will be be discussed with you directly.

The dogs will have all their vaccinations up to date before they can have their passport. They will be treated with flea and worming medication. Puppies must be at least 12 weeks of age before the rabies vaccine can be administered and by law all dogs and puppies must wait 21 days after the vaccination, before they can travel. Therefore puppies can only leave after the age of four months. They will also be microchipped before travel.
